Halloween Costumes!!

So this year i was trying to think of doing some thing fun for my Halloween costume, that I can do with my best friend, because we are going trick-or-treating together...so we came up with being thing one and thing two!!-we will wear red footie PJ's, make a thing one and thing two belly thing with felt and sew it on (cus we want to use the PJ's again...) and then wear our hair in high pony tails, sticking out in all directions (cus we both have long curly hair -we call each other the 'curly haired girls' haha anyways...) and then we will do the spray paint washable hair stuff so we have blue hair, then have crazy fake eye lashes and sparkly eye liner...what do ya think?? :)

Nutcracker Cast

The cast has come out for my dance company's nutcracker, that will take place this winter!! I will be in snow, waltz of flowers and licorice/ribbons!! :)

Fall

Fall is officially here! :) The rain has started, the cold weather and the rain jackets have been pulled out...after having really warm weather for awhile its kind of a shocker but feels good to, and for a change was some what missed;)

High School!!

OK so I'm going to be a freshman next school year... and I'm having a really hard time deciding what high school I'm going to...i have the option to go to my home high school which is Skyview or go to VSAA for high school which, is the school that I'm going to now so i would be there for high school and middle school...see I'm torn because i really like VSAA and all of its fun programs/electives that it has to offer but i also hear that skyview is really good and i kind of want to switch it up and have the 'normal' high school experience...and then I'm also torn because my best friend and a few of my friends I have made at VSAA are planning on staying but all of my friends from church and some from dance are going to Skyview...ahhhhh i hate making decisions like this:( ...haha:)

Our little 8 year old!

Audrey getting baptized!! what?!!? I can hardly believe that my little sister that i remember bouncing around, just being the cutest baby ever is now getting baptized! :) She got her ears pierced and she got her pretty dress and shes all really to go! She will be doing a double baptism with one of her friends who has the same birthday (September 4th) as her which is kind of cool:) The baptism is on September 24th at 3pm, i hope you can all come, it will be a fun weekend! :)

I give my heart and tears today to the thousands of people who were killed and gave there lives in that tragic moment 10 years ago! This was a horrible event that never should of happened and has caused our country many pains...as we reflect on this time may we not ponder on how horrible this day was but how many hero's were made on that day that changed America forever! Shall we always respect those people who saved America from even more tragedy. And be grateful that we were not harmed on that horrible day. Thank you hero's of 9/11!! :)

1st day of School!!

Wednesday was the 1st day of school for Bruce, Audrey, and me! Bruce is now in middle school!! A 6th grader, can you believe it?? Our little Audrey is a 3rd grader, working harder than ever:) I am now top dog 8th grader!! haha:) This school year started out with 90 degree weather so its been very warm at school!! ...for once I kind of want cooler weather! It looks like its going to be a great school year and I can't wait to see how the year unfolds. This year for activities we are all doing piano again, Bruce and Audrey are doing soccer and I'm doing dance (ballet- senior company now!) of course;) Sadly our camera was not charged so we have no pictures from the 1st day of school...but I'll try to get some soon!! that's all for now(:

ok so I know that I have not blogged in like...forever!!!!! -and i know I've done this before and done the whole 'Major catch-up' and saying it wouldn't happen again..well that didn't happen;) anyways this time I really mean it!! I'm not gonna try to explain everything that has happened over the past 3 months but from now on at least once every week I promise that I will post some thing even if its just a short message and a couple pictures...thank you for forgiving me on me breaking my promise and encouraging me to blog again!! I can't wait to share all the fun adventures of the Erickson family:)

Dance Update:)

I got into BYU ballet camp!!! I will be going to the Intermediate level for two weeks (July 5th-16th)! Two of my friends will be staying from my dance studio will also be going to the camp! We will either stay at the dorms or two of us at grandma and grandpas and one at their grandparents house...I can't wait!!

Also, the casting came out for the ballet performance that I am doing at my dance studio (Northwest classical ballet), we are doing Cinderella and then a few random dances: I am in the season summer dance, I'm a palace attendant and then I'm in the dance that the junior performing group is doing! The show will be on May 14th-you should all come!

Oh, and lastly-so I take dance at school and every once and a while we have a guest artist come to our school for a master class. And this month we are having a ballet/modern group of dancers come to our school. See, I'm in level one and they weren't planning on having level one and explore (the level below me) do the ballet class, just the modern. But, I told my teacher that I do ballet outside of school and have been for about seven years and that I'm on pointe and she is letting me take it! I can't wait!!

Happy Valentines Day!

Today my dad did his tradition of bringing each of his girls a rose and (something new) a little box of chocolates-it was for a girls camp fundraiser that I did:) Luickly this year he gave me the treats outside instead of doing what he did last year (highly embarrasing). Also today I got to audition for the modern peice that we are having in our spring show at my dance studio, which was intresting-I hope I get in! Happy Valentines Day and I love you all:)
