Stones to Spare

Here is a conversation that Audrey had with her 1st grade teacher:

Audrey: My Dad can't come to the student-led conference today because he's in the hospital.

Mrs. Michaud: Oh no! What happened? Is he OK?

Audrey: Well, his body is full of stones. So, they had to do surgery.

Mrs. Michaud: I'm so sorry. I hope he feels better soon.

Audrey: Me too. He will be better without his stones.

Too funny! I wish I could see the picture that Audrey has in her mind. I'm sure it's quite creative. By the way, Brandon is feeling much better without his stones.

crazy sunday

I think today was one of the craziest Sundays I have ever experienced!!! Maybe it's because I was asked to give my first talk in Sunday, or my dad had surgery, or that i officially joined young women's!! But, some where in there I think I mentally lost it!! Any way, we have been staying at another member's house while my parents have been at the hospital and I think I have finally calmed down....... Maybe.

World's Fair Audrey

In school Audrey was asked to research a country, and she chose France. After researching they had all the students bring their country's flag, which they had made in class and a food that was from her country. Audrey brought grapes and french bread for her food. After they set up their country display, then all the parents of the students went around, sampled the foods and learned about the country. And, at the very end the students sang to the parents!!

We also had a big dinner, we had my favorite meal: chicken enchilada's, went ice skating, where my mom showed us her mad skills, and of course, we went to BYU!! Also, on Saturday, we are going to the afternoon session of general conference, I guess this is our new family tradition, when ever one of us turns 12 then we will go to general conference!!
