Our stake president asked every member to plant a garden. So, we decided to plant potatoes. Now we aren't farmers or anything. We didn't know when to dig up the potatoes. After a few weeks we started digging up potatoes! Then we waited because they were really small! And now we are getting bigger potatoes and eat them a lot!

The Blog Switch

As you may know my mom first started this blog but for some reason, busy probably decided she just did not have time to blog. Mean while I wanted to do a blog, so my mom gave the blog to me! So I now do all the posts and the little pictures and stuff! I hope you like it! -Emma!

General Conferance

I hope you guys all enjoyed the wonderful sessions of General Conference! I know we did ! We plan on going to general conference this coming spring for my twelfth birthday! My favorite talks were by the prophet Thomas S. Monson! We also enjoyed our tradition of eating homemade cinnamon rolls for breakfast. We also took turns taking notes on talks all through the conference!

My mom, dad, brother and sister all went to Utah. While they were there my mom ran in the "Top of Utah" marathon with her sister Kathy! My dad also went to a BYU football game! Meanwhile, Bruce and Audrey stayed with cousins! And through this whole thing I stayed home with a friend, because they drove half way one day, drove the rest of the way the next day, stayed for one day then drove all the way back on Sunday, which to me sounds just plain crazy! And on the night of their first day of driving they went camping together in a cabin in Farewell Bend State park!

Mom and Dad in Maine

In August, we went to my Dad's parents house on Hayden Lake, Idaho. While we were there my Aunt Dallas and Uncle Harry got sealed in the temple! Also we had a mini show for every one, in which we sang a few patriotic songs and the primary song "I love to see the temple". And for about half of the trip my parent's went to Maine for my Dad's 20 year high school reunion!!

New School Year

The new school year has begun!

Emma started middle school (6th grade)at the Vancouver School of Arts and Academics which is also a High School! She takes Dance, Visual Art and Theater she is also in 8th grade math!

Bruce started 4th grade at Eisenhower Elementary with Mrs.Hoffarth he is still in the challenge program!

Audrey started first grade and has started the challenge program with Mrs. Michaud (who Emma and Bruce also had) who teaches 1/2end grade classroom she is also at Eisenhower Elementry!

Events of the Months!

We have had several little things happen:

Emma got to participate in a two week ballet camp at BYU Camp. She also went to her last experience of activity day girls camp!

Bruce went to cup scout camp and had his cub mobile in which he did well! Bruce also discovered his new and favorite sport, Tennis!

Audrey turned six years old and has started gymastics!
