Washington D.C Pictures: Evening One the Lincon Memorial

Every evening my mom and dad would go on 1-2 hour walks around Washington D.C. Even it was pouring down rain!

This, what we are standing by is a giant slab of rock full of tiny fossils!

That must of been one big shark! Actually this is the jaw of a shark that used to exist that was three times the size of a great white shark!

On the Subway in the Morning
Our daily schedule:
Wake up about 8:30, get ready- meaning get dressed, pack snack bags, do hair.
Then we would go down to the breakfast room, have breakfast.
Then walk down to the subway and take the subway to where ever we decided to go that day!
In the evening we would take the subway back to our hotel an wait for dad to get back from his seminar then go to dinner!
After dinner I would babysit Bruce and Audrey while mom and dad went on a walk around D.C!

Washington D.C

My dad had some work in Washington D.C, and we found this on sale on round trip tickets for $180 dollars to go to Washington DC. So we decided that on the 10th of November through the 16th of November we, as a family will go to Washington D.C! It was an amazing experience! We got to see, learn and do sooooooooooo much and there was still so much that we did not do! We were able to go to several- most amazing museums I have ever been to-the Smithsonian's! We went to the Natural History Museum, the Air and Space Museum, American History Museum and the Smithsonian Zoo! We also went to the Bureau of Printing and Engraving-where they print money, we also went and got a tour of the capital and inside the capital-after the tour we went and saw where the representatives and where the Senators meet, and one of our favorites the International Spy Museum! And lastly we got to see the White House, just the outside though! I hope we can someday go back! Also all through out this trip we got to ride on the subway to all of are fun outings we even got to take the subway to church! My dad did not get to see to much because he was at his seminar but every evening we would meet up for dinner. If you ever go there make sure you go to this really, really good Italian place called Luigi's. They have the best, all homemade Italian food I have ever had! Pictures are coming! Also all through out this trip we had a journal and would write what we did and learned!
